Survey of Consumer Finances, 1984 [Canada]: Economic Family and Unattached Individuals Income, Assets and Debts

<p>This is a special microdata file containing selected asset, debt and housing information for economic family units as collected in the 1984 Survey of Consumer Finances. Earlier surveys on family assets and debts were conducted in 1956, 1959, 1964, 1970 and 1977. The results of these surveys are published in Catalogue Numbers 13-508, 13-514, 13-525, 13-547 and 13-572 respectively, and differences in concepts and survey coverage are available by consulting these reports.</p> <p>The reference year for this file is 1983.</p> <p>Commencing with the 1998 microdata files, annual cross-sectional income data will be sourced from the Survey of Labour and Income Dynamics (SLID).</p>
