资源简介：
Dataset of 23 yearly maps featuring information on the first snow-free day in 0.005 degree grid over Europe, EPSG 4326 . These maps are based on Fractional Snow Cover (FSC) maps generated from Terra/MODIS satellite data published within Copernicus service CryoLand. The calculation procedure for deriving Melt-off day from these FSC-maps is developed at Syke.
Melt-off-day is given as Day of Year (DOY), i.e. sequential day number starting with day 1 on January 1st each year.
special codes:
-3 no data (meaning that there is not a proper seasonal snow period that Melt-off day could be provided for)
-7 permanent snow
-13 water
