Elevation Change of Western North Carolina (2017 vs 2025)

The dataset provides lidar based change detection information for 27 counties in western North Carolina. It supports the North Carolina Geological Survey’s (NCGS) evaluation of potential landslides and other geomorphic changes. The source data consist of lidar collections published by the North Carolina Department of Public Safety for 2016, 2017, and 2025.
