Title of Dataset: Survey Responses on Belief Systems and Religious Cognition in a Traditional Malay-Muslim Community in Terengganu Description: This dataset contains anonymized quantitative responses from a psychological study investigating neurocognitive stability and epistemic vulnerability in the religious belief system of the Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamaʿah (ASWJ) community in Terengganu, Malaysia. The survey comprises 23 items (Item 34–56) assessing participants' levels of agreement on key theological, ritual, and sociocultural beliefs relevant to ASWJ identity and orthodoxy. Each item includes Likert-scale responses from a total of 443 participants, along with descriptive statistics including mean, frequency counts, percentage distributions, and standard deviations. These data were used to explore the relationship between traditional religious instruction and the impact of alternative interpretations arising from digital media engagement. This dataset is intended to support transparency, further analysis, and replication of the study presented in the manuscript titled "Neurocognitive Stability and Epistemic Vulnerability in a Traditional Muslim Community: A Psychological Study of ASWJ Belief Systems in Terengganu", submitted to The International Journal for the Psychology of Religion.
