The research aim for investigating this data is (1) to determine whether differences exist in the gut microbiome of newborn infant rhesus monkeys (Macca mulatta) fed breast milk or standard infant formula; (2) to investigate the impact of oral introduction of probiotic supplementation (Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis) on gut microbiota profile.
