An informal survey of mammals and reptiles trapped or observed in September/October 2009 at Sturt National Park in far western NSW. This period was well into an extended drought. Trapping was primarily using existing National Parks Wildlife Service pitfall traps, although Elliot traps were used - albeit unsuccessfully. A total of 16 species caught and measured, including 12 reptiles and 4 mammals. All animals released after measuring and there were no mortalities as a result of ther trapping.
