资源简介:
The goal of the PSI/M family planning program is to improve knowledge and to promote use of contraceptive methods among sexually active women through the distribution of socially marketed products, namely the OC \"Pilplan\" and the injectable \"Confiance\". Specifically for young women aged 15 to 24 years old, PSI's family planning program is closely linked with the Top Reseau social franchise program targeting young people aged 15-24 in eight urban areas in Madagascar (Antananarivo, Tamatave, Antsiranana, Mahajanga, Taolagnaro, Antsirabe, Morondava, and Fianarantsoa). This study is based on two cross sectional survey rounds (December 2005/January-March 2006 and April /June 2008). Male and female respondents aged 15-24 were randomly sampled from households in 7 Top Reseau sites in 2006 and 2008. In total, 9,379 and 6,224 youth were interviewed in 2006 and 2008 for family planning.
