The dataset is comprised of articles from the Scopus and Web of Science databases considering inclusion criteria such as publication period between 2015 and 2020, studies in higher education institutions and focused on students and teachers, as well as empirical or mixed-study research. Formats that were not peer-reviewed articles and published in languages other than Spanish and English were excluded. The dataset search is based on a previous systematic mapping by Farias-Gaytan, Aguaded, and Ramirez-Montoya, 2021.
