Sheep Cheese Enrich the Colonic Microbiota Structure and Diversity in Leukemia Patients In Vitro

This study explored the influence of sheep cheese on the composition and diversity of gut microbiota over 48 h, utilizing an in vitro fermentation model to simulate intestinal conditions. By replicating the gut environment, this approach allowed for a detailed examination of microbial shifts in response to sheep cheese nutrients using low and high doses. The study focused on identifying changes in microbial populations and assessing the overall impact on microbiota diversity and metabolites. This investigation highlights the potential of sheep cheese as a dietary intervention to modulate or enrich gut microbiota, offering insights into its role in promoting gut health through microbiome modulation.
