"The inter-satellite laser interferometer will be the primary displacement measurement instrument for the next gravity missions, whose resolution of inter-satellite distance variation determines the quality of gravity field recovery. The scale factor serves as a critical parameter that transforms the measured phase into physical displacement, thereby influencing the final interferometric displacement measurements. This dataset is associated with \"A Novel Approach to Scale Factor Determination with Carrier-Sideband Correlation for Inter-Satellite Laser Interferometry\". The paper introduces a novel approach to achieve the scale factor determination through correlation analysis between the carrier and sideband phases, based on a phase-modulated laser with a sinusoidal signal synthesizing an on-board Ultra-Stable Oscillator (USO) frequency. Theoretical investigations for the carrier-to-carrier and the sideband-to-sideband beatnote phase measurement are presented. Theoretical and numerical calculations results demonstrate that the SFD accuracy of $5\\times10^{-9}$ (1$\\sigma$) can be achieved under current low-orbit Earth satellite technological capabilities, meeting the precision requirement of $1\\times10^{-8}$ for next-generation gravity satellites. This study provides a viable technical solution for designing next-generation gravity satellite systems."
