资源简介:
Cinnamomum camphora is widely cultivated for their essential oils (EOs) for use in cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. These EOs are mainly constituted of monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes. Camphor- and linalool-type represent two distinct valuable chemotypes in C. camphora. To identify the putative genes involved in camphor, linalool and other monoterpene biosynthesis, we provided transcriptomes of two Chemotypes, camphora- and linalool-type of C. camphora. This study has detected the genes encoding enzymes for the terpenoid biosynthesis pathways. A large number of unigenes, differentially expressed between two Chemotypes, was revealed by a transcriptome analysis. Furthermore, differentially expressed unigenes encoding TPS, dehydrogenases, transcription factors, and , which might contribute to the terpenoid diversity in C. camphora, were identified.
