This data was collected to assess the effect of rifampicin treatment on Brugia pahangi and its bacterial endosymbiont, Wolbachia, at early and late timepoints. We found that at early timepoints, Wolbachia are depleted by 95%, but at later timepoints Wolbachia rebound. Immunofluorescence assays revealed that "clusters" of Wolbachia remained in worms treated with rifampicin. This is the transcriptomic data of females recovered from vehicle and rifampicin treated animals 1-week and 8-months post first dose.
