Tasmanian Thylacine Sighting Records Database (TTSRD): restricted source documents and full database versions

Scanned source documents (original sighting descriptions, letters, agency forms and transcripts) for each record of the Tasmanian Thylacine Sighting Records Database (TTSRD), and the full database spreadsheets (v1.0.0 with 1,237 records; v1.1.0 and v1.1.1 with 1,223 records) including the Observer field. Analysis code and analysis-ready data, with observer identities removed, are public at https://github.com/BWBrook/ttsrd. Access is restricted because many documents carry personal information about members of the public who reported sightings (names, signatures and, on some forms, addresses and telephone numbers). Letters remain the copyright of their writers and agency forms that of the issuing agency.
