Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at The Street, Eyke, Suffolk, March 2022

This collection comprises site images, GIS data, and spreadsheet data from an archaeological evaluation of land to the east of The Street, Eyke Suffolk. Cotswold Archaeology carried out an archaeological evaluation in March 2022. The evaluation identified three main phases of activity. These included Prehistoric (Middle Bronze Age) field systems along with two ring ditches which were identified on the geophysical survey. A later occupation dating to the Middle Iron Age period was identified towards the road at the west and post-Medieval quarrying activity was encountered around the south, east and west of the site.
