Tenthredo eburneifrons W.F. Kirby, 1882, figures of several specimens

Kirby, 1882: 306, ♀ ; type locality: Amoor<br>= <em>Tenthredo lichtwardti</em> Konow, 1899: 365-366, ♀ ; type locality: Ardennes The species is very rare in Europe, but more common in the Eastern Palaearctic (Korea, Primorskij Kray). In Europe it has been recorded from Belgium, Germany, Finland, and Latvia. A record for France is based on an error. In European females the abdomen is black (like in the types of lichtwardti), whereas in eastern specimens it is usually more or less reddish brown in the middle (like in the type of <em>eburneifrons).</em> References: Blank, S.
