SDG 17.3.1 Foreign direct investment inflows
收藏资源简介:
This dataset reports annual foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows to Qatar in millions of current United States dollars. FDI is a cross-border investment through which an investor resident in one economy establishes a lasting interest and a significant degree of influence in an enterprise resident in another economy; ownership of 10 per cent or more of voting power is used as evidence of such a relationship. FDI inflows are one component of SDG indicator 17.3.1 on additional financial resources mobilized from multiple sources. The flows are reported on a net basis, as credits less debits, so negative values are valid and can reflect reverse investment or disinvestment. The series measures annual flows, not the stock of foreign investment. Current-dollar values are nominal and are not adjusted for inflation.
