This environmental assessment summarizes potential impacts of an emergency rule implementation of certain prohibited species bycatch management measures that have been proposed for the Alaska groundfish fisheries under Amendment 19 to the Fishery Management Plan (FMP) for the Groundfish Fishery of the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Area (BSAI) and Amendment 24 to the FMP for Groundfish of the Gulf of Alaska (GOA).
