Data and scripts for "A high resolution Micro Rain Radar and disdrometer dataset for rainfall studies near Paris"

This dataset contains the python scripts, data and selected figures supporting the paper "A high resolution Micro Rain Radar and disdrometer dataset for rainfall studies near Paris" by Emna Chikhaoui and Auguste Gires, submitted in 2026 to Geoscience Data Journal (Geoscience Data Journal - Wiley Online Library). It provides functions to read and process NetCDF files derived from Micro Rain Radar (MRR-PRO) measurements, to visualize the data, to compute the Drop Size Distribution (DSD) statistical moments and to identify rainfall events. A citation of the associated paper must accompany any use of this dataset. Further details are available in the paper.
