This dataset provides county-level socioeconomic and demographic data for the Poyang Lake Basin spanning the period from 1990 to 2020. The study area covers regions within the Poyang Lake Basin under the jurisdiction of Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Anhui, Hubei, Hunan and Guangdong provinces. Included indicators cover total population, total number of households, agricultural population and other relevant metrics. The dataset is stored in tabular format, with files organized annually, totaling 34 individual files.
