EXPLORING CULTURAL IDENTITY THROUGH LINGVOCULTUREMES: A STUDY OF KIPLING'S POETIC DISCOURSE

The relationship between language and cultural identity is examined through linguoculturological analysis of lingvoculturemes in this thesis. The study focuses on how phrases with cultural connotations serve as messengers of national ideals and perspectives. The study is based on a few of Rudyard Kipling's poems, such as The Way Through the Woods, If—, Nativity and The Power of the Dog. The thesis investigates important linguoculturological concepts and their function in articulating cultural identity through semantic and contextual analysis.
