Generation of Bacteriophages for combating bacterial infection of the skin and musculoskeletal system

This project focuses on isolating and characterizing bacteriophages that can effectively target and destroy drug resistant Staphylococcus aureus causing skin and musculoskeletal infections. By exploring phage host interactions and receptor mechanisms, it aims to develop safe, natural, and precise alternatives to antibiotics. The ultimate goal is to advance phage therapy as a sustainable treatment for multidrug-resistant bacterial infections.
