M-PHASE Project: Airborne atmospheric measurements on board the FAAM BAE-146 aircraft
收藏资源简介:
This is an updated version of the previous M-PHASE project dataset on Zenodo (10.5281/zenodo.14900461). Airborne atmospheric measurements were conducted aboard the UK FAAM (Facility for Airborne Atmospheric Measurements) BAE-146 aircraft as part of the M-PHASE project (Resolving climate sensitivity associated with shallow mixed-phase cloud in the oceanic mid-to-high latitudes). This dataset consists of several measurement outputs, categorized as follows: "core_faam_MPHASE.zip": includes outputs from the core instrument suite for each scientific flight. These instruments measure key atmospheric dynamics and thermodynamic variables, including such as wind speed and direction, temperature (T), and humidity. "core-cloud-phy_faam_MPHASE.zip": includes outputs from a wing-mounted Passive Cavity Aerosol Spectrometer Probe (PCASP) and a Cloud Droplet Probe (CDP) for each scientific flight. "nevzorov_faam_MPHASE.zip": includes outputs from a Nevzorov probe for each scientific flight, which measures the bulk total condensed water content (TWC) and liquid water content (LWC) during each flight. "LAAPToF_faam_MPHASE.zip": includes outputs from a Laser Ablation Aerosol Particle Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer (LAAPToF) for each scientific flight, which measures the single-particle chemical composition and mixing state. "SP2_faam_MPHASE.zip": includes outputs from the Single Particle Soot Photometer (SP2) for each scientific flight, which measures black carbon (soot) content in individual airborne aerosol particles. "CVI_rack.zip": includes the CVI inlet parameters, the particle number concentration from a butanol-based condensation particle counter (CPC, TSI Model 3010), and the particle size distributions from a GRIMM sky Optical Particle Counter (skyOPC).
