The HAMSTER dataset was created by the Institute of Meteorology, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. It is a hyperspectral albedo map dataset with high spatial and temporal resolution. This dataset contains 365 daily albedo maps covering the full wavelength range of 400 to 2500 nm, with a spatial resolution of 0.05°, a spectral resolution of 10 nm, and a temporal resolution of 1 day. The dataset was developed based on MODIS data and laboratory measurement data, and generated via Principal Component Analysis (PCA). It is primarily used to improve the calculation of Earth's energy budget, conduct seasonal variation research, and enhance the accuracy of climate simulations.
