RNA sequencing of distal small intestine of 8 week old C57Bl6/N after exposure to a low fat or high fat diet with or without treatment to low doses of penicillin

Epithelial cells were collected from the the distal portion of the small intestine from C57Bl6/N mice (8 weeks old). Mice were given a low fat or high fat diet with or without treatment with low doses of penicillin for 5 weeks. Section of the distal small intestine were then harvested and epithelial cells extracted. RNA was extracted from epithelial cells using Trizol. RNA sequencing performed by the Vanderbilt Technologies for Advanced Genomics.
