In Vivo RNA-seq analysis of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae during the acute phase of lung infection in a mouse model

Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae is the etiological agent of porcine contagious pleuropneumoniae. During the process of this disease, the pathogen responds to the changing conditions of the environment in host. Analyzing the RNA profiles of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae could yield indispensable information during the disease process, including the factors essential for microbial survival, colonization, growth or virulence in the host.
