WRF-Hydro simulations used to study the impact of lateral flow in southeast Australia

This repository contains the supporting data for Devanand et al. (2025): The influence of lateral flow on land surface fluxes in southeast Australia varies with model resolution Subdirectories contain the following: wrf_hydro_diff_resolutions: Output of WRF-Hydro simulations perfomed at different LSM and routing resolutions. The subfolders inside are named to be consistent with the paper. The spatial seasonal mean ET and domain average monthly ET are available in netcdf files. The text file named 'frxst_pts_out.txt' contains simulated streamflow. colnames = ["time_from_state", "time", "gauge", "lon", "lat", "q_cms", "q_cfs", "dpth_m"]. The "lon" and "lat" in the file output are sometimes not readable from the text file - so they have not been used in the analyses. The gauge number mapping for the text file is: 1=224201, 2=410047, 3=412050, 4=405240. wrf_hydro_soil_sensitivity/: Streamflow output ('frxst_pts_out.txt') from WRF-Hydro simulations using different soil datasets as mentioned in the paper. shapefiles/: shapefiles of the domain and subregions used for analyses.
