To explore the molecular response mechanisms of salt-tolerant and salt-sensitive wheat varieties under salt stress, this project selects 2 salt-tolerant wheat varieties and 2 salt-sensitive wheat varieties, and conducts normal hydroponics and 120 mM sodium sulfate stress treatment respectively. Subsequently, transcriptome and metabolome sequencing are carried out on wheat samples under each treatment, aiming to analyze the differential regulation patterns of wheat varieties with different salt-tolerance characteristics in response to salt stress from the perspectives of gene expression and metabolite changes, and to provide a theoretical basis for the genetic improvement of salt-tolerant wheat varieties and the efficient cultivation of wheat in saline-alkali land.
