Comparative Analysis of Gut Microbial Composition between Wild and Cultured Phascolosoma esculenta

This study aimed to investigate the gut bacterial community in the intertidal mariculture species Phascolosoma esculenta, determine if pathogenic bacteria are introduced during aquaculture, and elucidate bacterial exchanges between P. esculenta and surrounding sediments by comparing wild and cultured individuals.
