Replication Data for: Advancing the mapping of vegetation structure in savannas using Sentinel-1 imagery

<p>This dataset contains all data in an Excel file and the R-scripts used to produce the results in the paper. The data includes field measurements in the Greater Serengeti-Mara Ecosystem (GSME), and Sentinel-1, CHIRPS and IMERG remote sensing data obtained via Google Earth Engine.</p>
<p>Grass biomass, woody canopy volume and burning status data were collected at 100 sites in Serengeti National Park (SNP) in August and September 2021 and tree basal area was measured at 39 sites in the Greater Serengeti-Mara Ecosystem between April 2016 and December 2017.</p>
