Artifact for MSR 2026 Technical Paper: "Quantifying Competitive Relationships Among Open-Source Software Projects"

Overview This is the replication package to accompany the MSR 2026 paper. To access the source code and datasets, please extract MIAO-x.x.x.zip. The extracted content includes a README file that describes the details of each file and directory. Correction Notice An implementation error was identified in the feature-generation script included in the previous revisions of this artifact. The error affected the construction of the MIAO-score features used for the decision-tree analyses in RQ1 and RQ2. In the previous implementation, only the SCE value from the final analysis period was used, rather than aggregating the SCE values across all applicable analysis periods as intended. This revision contains the corrected implementation, recalculated results, and updated manuscript. The correction affects the reported decision-tree performance and part of the interpretation of the EVAL2 results. It does not affect the definition of MIAO, the underlying SCE calculations, the dataset, the research questions, or the evaluation design.
