NOAA/AVHRR Data over Europe (DWD-Archive), held at German Meteorological Service from 1994 on.

The DWD (German Meteorological Service, i.e. Deutscher Wetterdienst) operates a HRPT-Station in Offenbach, nearby Frankfurt/Main. Data are regulary archived since 1994-02-01. The AVHRR-archive contains images in a polar-stereographic projection covering the area of Central Europe. The images are calibrated in reflectances and brightness temperatures. They are stored in a DWD specific format. Images in TIFF-Format can be produced on request. Product pricing depends on scientific or commercial use.
