资源简介:
For more information about this layer please see the GIS Data Catalog. This data includes information on the location, type, and fish passage barrier status of road-based stream crossing structures, dams, and miscellaneous instream structures in King County and basins that contain King County sites. It includes data collected by King County as well as occasional imports of The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) datasets. The data set is updated continually as inventory and prioritization efforts are ongoing. The data are used to identify, locate, and prioritize correction of human-made fish passage barriers. Identifying and correcting fish passage barriers is a key component of salmon recovery. The data may be used by any group interested in salmon and habitat recovery. The data are also used to track where inventory efforts have occurred. King County makes no guarantee concerning the data's content, accuracy, completeness, or the results obtained from queries or use of these data. WDFW makes no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, no representation as to the quality of any data, and assumes no liability for the data represented here. These data do not represent exhaustive inventories, but are compilations of existing knowledge from field biologists that are updated periodically as knowledge improves. This data should be used cautiously because they are not exhaustive, and are subject to change. When conducting projects or planning for fish and wildlife, please consider using additional information gathered from field investigations and consultations with other professional biologists.
