资源简介:
This article describes the chemical components of both teak and red jabon wood that had been pinned for a year, as detected by Scanning Electron Microscope-Energy Dispersive X-Ray (SEM-EDS). The dataset collection process began by taking a disc-shaped piece of teak and red jabon with a thickness of 5 cm at the breast height. The disc was then sanded to smoothen the surface. Next, make a test sample with a size of 1 cm x 1 cm x 0.5 cm (Length x width x thickness) for observation of the surface of the test sample and its chemical components of the wood right in the pinning area and wood formation. The test sample coated with palladium aurum (pd-au) was placed on the specimen holder and inserted into the chamber. It can then be observed using the SEM EDS EVO MA10 instrument, according to the applicable procedures. The wood chemical element dataset was collected from the Forensic Laboratory Center of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia National Police. The resulting dataset was in the form of SEM photos, element spectra, element distribution mapping, and a table of percentages of detected wood chemical elements. Wood researchers can use this dataset for comparison in research related to the chemical components of wood.
