Transcriptional profiling of the cardiac left ventricle during pregnancy and the early post-partum period

Comparative analysis was done to identify genes and pathways affected in the heart left ventricle during different stages of pregnancy. Microarray profiling was done on nonpregnant, pregnant, and early post-partum mice, with diestrus females serving as reference. Two replicates of each type of sample were analyzed (n=2). The diestrus sample serves as reference for three pregnancy-related states (pregnant day 12, pregnant day 19, and post-partum day 1.5).
本研究通过对比分析,旨在鉴定妊娠不同阶段小鼠心脏左心室中差异表达的基因与信号通路。实验针对未妊娠、妊娠及早期产后小鼠开展微阵列(microarray)基因表达谱分析,以动情间期(diestrus)雌性小鼠作为对照。所有样本类型均设置两个生物学重复(n=2)。其中,动情间期(diestrus)小鼠样本作为三类妊娠相关状态的参考基准,这三类状态分别为妊娠第12天、妊娠第19天以及产后第1.5天的小鼠样本。
