The ojectives of this study are: a) Long-term monitoring of ANPP and peak-crop nitrogen yield in moderately grazed and ungrazed sites. (In conjuction with neutron probe soil water monitoring.) b) monitor temporal dynamics of life-form nitrogen concentration. Additional Objective: monitor annual nitrogen concentrations, yields, ANPP. Additional Objective: to capture a digital photograph that allows researchers to interpret biomass in g/m2 or other characteristics of the vegetation.
