In this study, phytochemicals and mineral profiling, and the anti-inflammatory potential of the n-hexane leaf fraction of <i>Irvingia wombolu</i> (NHLFIW) were performed with phospholipase A₂and formalin-induced inflammation in rats.Thirty total of 30 rats (Ratus ratus) of either sex were housed in the Department of Biochemistry Animal House at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. They were housed in cages with five rats per cage. One week before the start of the experiment, the rats were housed on a regular diet and water schedule and were acclimated to a 12-hour light and dark cycle.
