昭和34年1月から入港船舶調査票について、“石数船は10石を総トン数１トンとします。”の記述が削除され、また、海上出入貨物調査票について、“「港湾調査規則」別冊品種換算表”が“別に定める品種分類表”に変更され、“上記品種換算表により必ずトン数に換算し”の記述が削除された。
昭和41年1月から運輸省大臣官房統計調査部の所管となった。

The description 'Stone number ships are counted as 10 stones for each ton of gross tonnage' was removed from the ship entry survey forms starting from January 34th, Showa era. For the marine import and export survey forms, the 'Appendix of Commodity Conversion Table for Harbor Survey Regulations' was changed to 'A separately specified commodity classification table', and the description 'Converted to tonnage as specified by the aforementioned commodity conversion table' was removed. Starting from January 41st, Showa era, the Ministry of Transport's Bureau of Statistical Surveys became responsible for these forms.
