Supplementary Data: Linking Dilution, Evaporation Energy, and Economic Viability in Lithium Recovery from LFP Batteries

This repository contains the supplementary material accompanying the manuscript: "Linking Dilution, Evaporation Energy, and Economic Viability in Lithium Recovery from LFP Batteries." The package provides the calculation notebooks, input datasets, and supporting files required to reproduce the thermo-economic assessment presented in the study. The workflow is organized into five modular Jupyter notebooks covering: Process mass balance calculation Lithium recovery analysis and Sankey visualization First-principles evaporation energy modelling OLI-based precipitation yield modelling Economic assessment, sensitivity analysis, and uncertainty evaluation The repository also includes the supporting input data, generated figures, and the OLI-derived precipitation model used throughout the analysis. All calculations are performed on a functional-unit basis and are documented to facilitate transparency, reproducibility, and future reuse of the modelling framework. A detailed README file describing the workflow, assumptions, inputs, and outputs is included in the repository.
