资源简介:
Bacterial transcriptome refers to the complete set of RNA molecules transcribed from the genome of a bacterial cell under specific physiological conditions, growth stages, or environmental stimuli. It encompasses all functional RNA species, including messenger RNA that encodes proteins, ribosomal RNA and transfer RNA involved in translation, as well as non-coding RNAs with regulatory roles. Unlike the static bacterial genome, the transcriptome is highly dynamic, its composition and abundance of RNA molecules change dynamically in response to external cues and internal metabolic states, directly reflecting the subset of genes actively expressed by the bacterium at a given time.
