PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anion-modified cellulose nanofiber dispersion and a composition which are not colored during heating. SOLUTION: The anion-modified cellulose nanofiber dispersion contains: anion-modified cellulose nanofibers; a coloring inhibitor being a sulfite in an amount of 1-30 mass% based on the absolute dry mass of the anion-modified cellulose nanofibers; and a solvent. The sulfite is at least one selected from sodium bisulfite， potassium bisulfite， ammonium bisulfite， sodium sulfite， potassium sulfite， ammonium sulfite， sodium hyposulfite， potassium hyposulfite， calcium hyposulfite， sodium pyrosulfite， potassium pyrosulfite， magnesium pyrosulfite， and calcium pyrosulfite.
