Time series of hourly wind speed and direction during July-September 2014 at various NDBC buoy stations

This work showed the nearshore dynamics for Lake Michigan and its nearshore area by using observations and modeling system. Few drifter experiments had been done in the Great Lakes system, and even few were coupled with a model to show the dynamics. The nearshore Great Lakes system was given detailed investigation during this study.
