Unleashing Green Innovation in Enterprises: The Transformative Power of Digital Technology Application , Green Human Resource, and Digital Innovation Networks

 Enterprise green innovation has emerged as an urgent concern for manufacturing companies in the current context of global green and sustainable development. China's "peak carbon emissions" and "carbon neutrality" goals require companies to take proactive measures to reduce carbon emissions and improve energy efficiency, with the application of digital technology playing a crucial role in this process. However, existing research has not comprehensively revealed the mechanisms through which the application of digital technology affects the performance of green technology innovation in enterprises. Therefore, this study aims to delve into the impact of digital technology applications on the performance of green technology innovation in enterprises and examine the roles of green human resource management and digital innovation network embeddedness in this context. We selected publicly traded manufacturing companies in China, collected relevant patent and financial data from 2011 to 2020, and conducted empirical research by OLS models. The results in this study indicate that the breadth and depth of digital technology applications have a significantly positive impact on enterprises' green technology innovation performance. Meanwhile, green human resource management plays a mediating role in the relationship between digital technology applications and green technology innovation performance. Furthermore, the relational and structural embeddedness of the digital technology innovation network significantly moderates the relationship between digital technology applications and green human resource management. This study provides a theoretical basis for enterprises to better understand how digital technology can support green innovation under the "Digital China" strategy, optimize employee recruitment and training strategies, and promote the development of digital innovation networks, all of which will advance sustainable development and environmental protection goals.
