资源简介:
Oryza coarctata known as Asian wild rice, grows naturally in the coastal region of South East Asia, where plants experience the lunar tide and are exposed to submerge saline sea water in every alternative 12 h. It is locally called as 'Uri-dhan' in India. It can withstand saline water as high as 40 E.Ce (electrical conductivity). It is an allotetraploid (2n=4X=48) perennial grasses. It is the only halophytic species under the genus Oryza and hence present work to decode the whole genome sequence will help us to reveal salt tolerant genes which in turn will be useful to develop the high salinity tolerant rice genotype. In the present study, we use Illumina shotgun pair end reads, mate pair reads and nanopore long read to assemble the genome.
