This dataset contains the results of synthetic data assimilation experiments to assess the performance of an adaptive hybrid covariance scheme within NorCPM. The experiments were conducted in the ocean over the period 1980-2010 with assimilation of monthly sea surface temperature (SST) observations that mimic true SST observations.
