Magnetogram data for "Hidden Activity Revealed: Photospheric Energetics and Dynamics with High-Resolution Magnetographic Data"

Two sets of FITS files containing simultaneous and co-spatial magmetograms for the above paper, along with supporting information included in FITS headers. One of the sets corresponds to 45-sec cadence data from the Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager (HMI) onboard the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), while the other corresponds to similar-cadence data from the Near-Infrared Imaging Spectropolarimeter (NIRIS) installed on the Goode Solar Telescope at the Big Bear Solar Observatory (BBSO). While the HMI data have been masked with zeroes where NIRIS data have been zeroed (this occurs if at least one NIRIS magnetogram has not covered the location of interest), the NIRIS data have been further cropped to exclude most of peripheral zero buffer zones. This said, each data set has accurate central meridian distance (CMD) and heliographic latitude information at the SE and NW edges of each image, so the HMI images can also be cropped accurately in case one desires precisely overlapping images. This was done in Figure 1 of the supported paper, for example.
