Microbial communities in marine sediment microcosms spiked with fish wastes, emamectin benzoate, and oxytetracycline

The goal is to assess the microbial communities from microcosms of marine sediments that were spiked with organic matter (fish wastes), emamectin benzoate, and oxytetracycline. Sediments were spiked with organic matter (OM) at either low (LOM) or high (HOM) levels, emamectin benzoate (EMB), or EMB and oxytetracycline (OTC), and incubated at 4 degrees Celsius for 110 days. Samples were collected from the input sediment and organic matter material, and at the start (0 days) and end (110 days) of the experiment to assess changes in the microbiota.
