Bacteria capable of plastic bioconversion to value-added biopolymers

These bacteria have the ability to produce biopolymers such as polyhydroxyalkanoates using various carbon sources. These bacteria were also used for bioconversion of waste plastic to value-added biopolymers. In agriculture, these bacteria aided in plant growth promotion by remediation of plastic polluted soils. We sequenced these bacteria to find out how this could be beneficial in plastic consumerism and agricultural industries.
