Genomes of Tanzanian Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae strains isolated from a recent survey

Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae causes Bacterial Leaf Blight on rice. This project involved whole genome sequencing of isolates of this pathogen obtained from a recent epidemic in Tanzania. The overall goal is to gain a more detailed insight on the genetic diversity and virulence determinants of these strains.
