Data for 3D Printing for Open-Source Low-Field MRI
This data is used in the manuscript "3D Printing for Open-Source Low-Field MRI". The scripts for recomputation of the results used in the publication can be found at https://gitlab.tugraz.at/ibi/mrirecon/papers/lowfield-3dprinting.The folders are structured as following:
01_SQUID contains the different SQUID magnetometry data. The sequence is given with the *.seq file for each folder while the data is in the *.dat file of each folder.
02_Magnet contains the data for the printed and CNC milled magnets at different stages (unshimmed, shimmed)
The STLs folder contains the STLs that were printed for the magnet.
02_Magnet/CNC contains the shimming data for the CNC magnet
02_Magnet/printed contains the shimming data for the printed magnet
03_Coils contains the gcode, STL files as well as Simulations of the gradient field and field maps of the different gradient coils (X, Y, Z).
In the STLs folder there are the square wirepath and the optimized wirepath. For the square wirepath only the outer most Y gradient was designed to showcase the differences in the wirepath shapes.
03_Coils/QualityControl contains the field maps of the different gradient coils (all were obtained at 3A current).
03_Coils/Simulations contains the pycoilgen simulations of the different gradient coils.
03_Coils/gcode contains the gcode files that were generated for the optimized and non-optimized gradient coil.
04_Phantoms contains the STL files used for 3D printing of the phantoms as well as the DICOM files imaged at 3T.
acq_params_1.png and acq_params_2.png are the acquisition parameters for the Phantom measurements on the high-field MRI.
05_MRI contains the MRI data from phantom and in-vivo measurements.
The .mat files can be opened with MaRGE a graphical environment for MaRCoS [1].
It also includes DICOM exports of the reconstructed images. But due to the difference in the coordinate system of a convention high-field MRI and a low-field MRI the labeling for transverse, coronal and sagital will not be correct.

The 3Dprinting_repo.zip file contains a backup of the scripts for computing the different results. This is only meant as an archive please refer to the https://gitlab.tugraz.at/ibi/mrirecon/papers/lowfield-3dprinting for the newest version of the code.
