A nucleolar condensin-recruiting complex that regulates yeast chromosome III structure [ChIP-Seq]

Purpose: To identify cohibin-dependent condensin binding sites throughout the yeast genome. Conclusions: This ChIP-seq experiment showed that the condensin subunit, Brn1, was depleted from the RDT1 promoter in an lrs4Δ mutant strain. The experiment also showed that the Lrs4 subunit of the cohibin complex is highly enriched at the RDT1 promoter on chromosome III.研究目的：鉴定全酵母基因组中依赖于cohibin的凝缩蛋白（condensin）结合位点。研究结论：本染色质免疫共沉淀测序（ChIP-seq）实验证实，在lrs4Δ突变菌株中，凝缩蛋白亚基Brn1从RDT1启动子区域缺失；同时实验还发现，cohibin复合物的Lrs4亚基在三号染色体的RDT1启动子区域呈现高度富集。
